On this school visit to the Reina Sofía, we have prepared an itinerary for schools and institutes aimed at familiarising pupils with avant-garde and current artistic movements.
We will learn about modern techniques and current forms of representation. Within an itinerary where we will get to know several important artists such as Picasso, Dalí, Maruja Mallo, Ángeles Santos, Joan Miró,… who have shown their tastes and interests through art.
Through a playful process, the pupils will learn that from the 20th century onwards artists were looking for their own identity and seeking a break with the figurative tradition.
